The Piquant Palate was created for those who appreciate bold flavors, sophisticated food displays, and a space to gather. “Piquant” means a “pleasantly stimulating taste” or a “flavor that is exciting to the mind.” If that sounds intriguing, then I’d love to work with you!

The Piquant Palate specializes in curating graze tables and charcuterie displays for private events in the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho regional area. The intention is to create a stunning space at your event to taste fabulous foods, while building community with one another.

ABOUT ME.

Hi, I’m DANI CARLSON.

I am a mama of three (ages 5 and under) and local to the beautiful town of Coeur d’Alene. I attended the University of Idaho for my undergraduate and graduate tenure, ultimately receiving my PhD in Adult Education. I work at a local payroll office, utilizing my certification in HR. More than anything, I adore delicious and beautiful food and I have been creating graze tables and food displays for private events for years. I would love to curate a charcuterie experience that will wow your friends, family, peers, and everyone in between.
